Jenks is my first book, and I found the writing process really fun and exciting. Some days I couldn’t stop through fear of losing my thought train, and wrote for more than eight hours at a time, crippling my poor neck and back. It’s been a tight learning curve to say the least - I had no real idea what was involved after actually writing the book - numerous new drafts, proof reading, formatting, and then all the technical stuff which generally baffles me, due to having the IT skills of a new born baby. Thankfully a few good people generous with their time guided me in the right direction. I’m also excited about Jenks II, the title as yet unknown. In an idle moment recently 5,500 words came pouring out, but I’ve no idea yet where the story is going, but that’s all part of the fun of writing.
